Domestic abuse is an incredibly serious issue which can affect anyone. At Brighton & Hove Law, we recognise the need to work sensitively in cases where domestic abuse may be present to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those involved.
How can we help?
We offer free 30-minute consultations for those in need of advice. We also offer reduced rates for those experiencing domestic abuse. We are able to assist victims in obtaining court orders for protection, and can organise the implementation of non-molestation orders. In emergency situations, we can work out of office hours to ensure such applications are dealt with in court the next day.
We recognise the importance of working swiftly and decisively when it comes to domestic abuse, and will ensure all applications are made without delay. Where appropriate, we can also deal with issues under public funding (Legal Aid). We also work closely alongside organisations such as RISE, a domestic violence organisation and can refer you to agencies that will provide you with the support needed for your specific circumstances.
In an emergency situation, telephone the police immediately at 999.
